Band

Meets Tuesdays/Thursdays from 3:30-4:30

Instruments: Students need to come with their own instruments. We will have Graner Music stopping by in the beginning of September for "instrument testing" where new band members are helped with finding the right instrument.

Graner Music also offers affordable instrument rentals, and all the materials students will need for participating (Essential Elements book, cleaning supplies, etc).

.

Landsharks Running Club

We offer a non-competitive youth program to introduce running in a safe and fun environment. The focus is on self-improvement, being an encouraging teammate, and making new friends. The Fall Cross Country Series is a fun running program led by coaches, parents, and teachers and is open to students in kindergarten through 6th grade.

Choir

Meets Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30

No materials for choir however students are expected to keep up with their music in a provided folder, and they should always have a water bottle with them.

Lego/Robotics

Meets Wednesday/Thursday from 3:30-5:00

Grades 6-8 Meets Wednesdays

Grades 3-5 Meets Thursdays

This hands-on robotics experience invites young learners to collaborate, innovate, and tackle real world challenges through the exciting world of LEGO robotics.

What’s New:

At Colorado Springs Charter Academy, we are thrilled to introduce the **FIRST LEGO League Future Challenge** for students in Grades 6-8, a dynamic and engaging program designed to ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, and teamwork.

The club will meet once a week after school from August 26th through December. Students may qualify to attend a regional competition. To ensure a collaborative and committed team environment, students should aim to attend at least 80% of the meetings. A nominal fee of $40 per student will help support registration and provide a club T-shirt, making this an enriching experience for all involved.

How Can you Help?:

We are always looking for volunteers and assistant coaches. Come build LEGO like a kid and help promote essential skills such as creativity and critical thinking.
