Pardo Family

Hello, and welcome to our 4th grade class. I hope that students feel like our class is a family. I always tell students about my two "beings". Usually students become so familiar with hearing about them, that my "beings" become theirs as well, as they are most important to me, and I always end up loving my school kids as much as these two. My daughter is in 5th grade at CSCA, and my son attends pre-school.
Fun facts about me; I weight lift. Weight lifting is how I start my day, every day before school. My exercise sets the tone for the rest of the day. I also love motorcycle rides, which is therapeutic. On the weekends I do hair and makeup. I know that seems as though the two do not go together. However, one side of my family were teachers, and my grandmother owned a hair salon. My favorite movie is "Hocus Pocus". You will find some quotes around the classroom. This has been my favorite movie for the last 30 years.
Besides being a "mom" to these two, I also a "mom" to a Great Dane.
My family loves to hike, camp, and go on road trips (very Colorado, I know). My children were both born in Colorado, but I am from Upstate New York. A very small rural area, 30 minutes South of Canada. We love salt potatoes, cheese curd, and Croghan Bologna there. Use that for any hints to the exact location.
