Hola! Te cuento un poco sobre mi. I come from Murcia, Spain. I have been living in England for two years and in Germany for four years. I love traveling, learning new languages, and experiencing new cultures. I speak Spanish, English, and German.
I have two university degrees, the first is in speech therapy and the second is in elementary education. I also have taken several courses related to Autism.
After finishing my speech therapy degree, I had the opportunity to open my own clinic to help children and adults with speech difficulties. Later, I worked for three years for a respected Autism association in my hometown of Murcia, where I would go to schools to teach children with autism. I would also design customized programs to guide parents on the educational needs of their children.
In 2016, I ventured to live in England with the goal of improving my English and to gain new personal and professional experiences. I started off working in childcare until I found a job as a teacher at an international school, Europa School, in Oxford. Europa School gave me another vision of education and teaching, where the coexistence of different cultures and languages in a school greatly enrich both students and teachers. I loved working in this school, and although they wanted me to stay with them, I decided to leave England when my partner got a wonderful job opportunity in Germany. During my first year in Germany I have been learning the local language, taking several German lessons. After I worked as English teacher at a bilingual kindergarten. It was a wonderful experience.
Finally, I would like to tell you that I am really happy being part of this lovely team. I love teaching and I will share the best of my knowledge and experience with the students while also continuing to improve my teaching skills and techniques from the other wonderful staff at CSCA. I am looking forward to meeting you all.
