Mrs. Desotelle

Hello! My name is Brittani Desotelle (Des-so-tell), and I am one of the fourth grade teachers here at Colorado Springs Charter Academy! This is my second year teaching, and I am thrilled to be back as a part of the academic team here at this incredible school.

I have two Bachelor's Degrees: (1) Performing Arts; and (2) Educational Studies. I am currently working on my Graduate Degree in American History with emphasis' on Native American and African American History. I received my Performing Arts Degree in New York City at the New York Film Academy, and my Educational Studies Degree at Arizona State University -Go Sun Devils!

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, Derek, and our two puppies: Lincoln and Bella. We are a big camping family, so in the summertime you will find us somewhere in the breathtaking Colorado mountains. My favorite hobbies include reading -History or Historical Fiction are my favs-, crafting, and singing/dancing in the kitchen while I cook!
