Hello My Name Is...

Gary Bazer

What an honor to be a part of the CSCA family, as a sixth grade teacher!
I have been involved in education in one way or another for over twenty years. This does not count the time it took me to earn my degrees from East Texas Baptist University or New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. 

During that span I have worked at schools in Texas, The Vanguard School here in Colorado Springs, and Academy School District 20.  In Texas, I taught history, science, reading and a number of subjects. During my time at Vanguard, I served as Teaching Assistant for the History Department. While at Academy District 20, I served as a guest teacher and also taught U.S. History, Civics, and Psychology.

Ashley and I have been married for over 16 years. We are the proud parents of three children, Jack, Hope, and Becca.  I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, listening to music and watching sports especially college football.   Ask my 6th graders and they will tell you which team I follow!

Favorite movie: Chariots of Fire
Favorite Snack: M&M's, peanuts, anything made with love.
Places I would most like to go: England, Germany

I have performed on the capitol steps in Washington D. C.
