 Some Announcements:

CSCA Fall Festival is Friday, October 5th(5:30-8:00 pm)

Scholastic Book Orders are due ONLINE by Friday, October 5th. Be sure to use our class code to help us get free books for our classroom library! :)

Count Day: Wednesday, October 3rd. Please be sure your child is here, and on time. The school attendance count is extremely important. This will be a FREE DRESS DAY for the kids!

Progress Reports will resume in November, due to Quarter 2 starting October 11th, and Parent/Teacher Conferences this month. Conferences will be on Wednesday and Thursday, October 24-25th. You will be available to sign up for conference dates and times soon, through Sign Up Genius on our main webpage. Conference attendance is mandatory, in order to receive your child's quarter one report card.

Autobiography Project: We will begin our autobiography projects this month. This is a project that will be completed in chunks over the course of the school year. Students will turn in one chapter at a time. After they have turned in all five chapters, they will put together their own books and share with the class. This is a significant part of their writing grade this year.

Fall Break: October 26-29th :)
