November Newsletter

Hello CSCA Families,

I enjoyed seeing everyone at conferences and I hope everyone enjoyed their fall break!  November is here!  We will be talking about patterns, time, pennies and dimes in math, we are all now taking spelling “tests” in reading, we continue talking about the weather and of course we will be learning about the first Thanksgiving.  The poem to memorize this month will be, “Three Blind Mice”.

Grandparents Day is Friday, November 22nd.  It is from 9:50-10:50 am and visitors are invited to join their student for lunch at 10:50 am.  There will be more information coming home soon.

The Thanksgiving break is a whole week!  So, NO SCHOOL Monday, November 25th through Friday, November 29th.  Enjoy!  School will resume Monday, December 2nd.

Homework/Book it Calendars- Please remember to turn in any homework or “fixed” work.  Also, don’t forget to fill in and return your “book it” calendars, a new one is being sent home for November.

We have had discussions about name calling and potty talk in the classroom.  Especially with STOP bullying week, we are really trying to stop this behavior.  If you could have the talk at home with your student, it would be very helpful.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns please come see me or email me!

Thank you for all you do!
