November Newsletter

Hello CSCA Families,

I enjoyed seeing everyone at conferences and I hope everyone enjoyed their fall break!  November is here!  We will be talking about patterns, time, pennies and dimes in math, we will start taking spelling “tests” in reading (more info to come), we continue talking about the weather and of course we will be learning about the first Thanksgiving!

This week is our Anti-Bullying week (Nov. 2-Nov. 6)!  Each day has a theme and students may dress to support the theme for the day and the cause!  Info was sent home and is on the school’s website.  If you need more information, please let me know.

There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, November 9th.

The Thanksgiving break is a whole week!  So, NO SCHOOL Monday, November 23rd through Friday, November 27th.  Enjoy!  School will resume Monday, November 30th.

Homework/Book it Calendars- Please remember to turn in any homework or “fixed” work.  Also, don’t forget to fill in and return your “book it” calendars, a new one is being sent home for November.

Please try to remind your student to bring their water bottle EVERY day

Also, with the snow comes snow boots.  Boots are a violation of uniform guidelines.  Boots are not allowed for all-day wear, although snow boots may be worn to school, they must be changed (extra pair in backpack) before entering the classroom. (See the uniform policy in the parent handbook)

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please email me!

Thank you for all you do!
